Built for your operations Governed by design
Designed and tailored for how your organisation actually works.
AI systems for your organisation’s own operations
We build AI systems around one defined process at a time. You own them, your team runs them, and governance is built in from day one.
How a Governed System Handles Work
- 1InputForms, requests, records, and operational data.
- 2AI SystemReads, sorts, drafts, and forecasts within a defined scope.
- 3Human CheckpointA person approves, corrects, or stops the result.
- 4OutputReturned to your team or your existing systems.
Every system we build includes:
Select a control to see where it applies.
Every change to a model, prompt, or configuration is recorded and can be rolled back.
A record of the data each system was built and tested on, and where it came from.
Defined points where a person reviews, corrects, or stops the system, with each decision logged.
Errors and complaints are logged, investigated, and fed into the next version.
Records that a client, an auditor, or a regulator can inspect.
We are building our AI management system to ISO/IEC 42001 and are working towards certification.
We state what a system does, what it does not do, and what it is not approved for.
Where Organisations Usually Start
Documents and Records
Extract and sort information from forms, reports, and correspondence; a person approves the output.
Knowledge and Policy
Staff get answers from your own manuals and procedures, with every source cited.
Service Requests
Routine requests handled; anything out of scope goes to the right person.
Reporting and Forecasting
Regular reports and forecasts from your operational data, for managers to check.
Each can include AI workers that handle routine tasks and pass the results to your team for checking.
How We Build
- Map the WorkProcess, people, data, and risks, before any technology.
- Design the ControlsScope, limits, and where a person decides.
- Build and TestOn your data, in your environment if required.
- Run and ReviewMonitoring, incident logs, and scheduled reviews.
Our flagship health platform
In Development · Not Yet ReleasedElpis is our pilot for AI in a regulated setting. It is a health platform for Malaysian patients, pharmacies, and clinics, built with the same governance as every Pneuma Tech system.
Not yet released. Elpis’s classification under the Medical Device Act 2012 will be confirmed with the Medical Device Authority before launch.

Your partner on the ground in Sarawak
For investors building data centres, AI compute, semiconductor plants, and other high-technology facilities in Sarawak, we manage the process from first enquiry to handover.
Sarawak’s renewable hydropower and state backing for AI make it a strong home for data centres and AI compute. We help your project get built and create skilled local jobs.
How an Engagement Runs
Stages run across the top. Each bar shows the stages a workstream covers; select one to see what it involves.
Site Screening
Stages 1–2
Screening and comparing candidate parks and sites across Sarawak against your requirements.
Due Diligence
Stages 2–4
Land tenure and zoning, power supply and power purchase agreement (PPA) terms, connectivity, and geotechnical and environmental studies, coordinated through licensed specialists.
Project Management
Stages 2–6
From feasibility study through to construction and handover.
Agency Confirmations
Stage 3
Coordinating the technical confirmations each project needs. For data centres, this follows State Planning Authority (SPA) Circular No. 2/2026, with Sarawak Energy, Sarawak Water or JBALB, the Sarawak Multimedia Authority, NREB, and BOMBA.
Planning Submission
Stages 3–4
Coordinating the submission with the appointed Qualified Person, through eSPA or MINTRED’s eICC, up to the approving authority’s decision.
Local Value
Stages 3–6
Linking each facility to Sarawak enterprises, talent, and training partners, so the investment creates skilled local roles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Short answers about Pneuma Tech, Elpis, and investing in Sarawak.
What does Pneuma Tech do?
Pneuma Tech is a Kuching-based artificial intelligence company. We build governed AI systems for organisations, develop Elpis, our flagship health platform, and act as a local partner to international investors bringing AI and technology projects to Sarawak.
What does the name Pneuma mean?
Pneuma is the Greek word for breath. Like breath, good technology should be essential yet unnoticed, always there and never in the way.
What is a governed AI system?
It is an AI system scoped to a defined process, owned and used by the client, with governance built in from the start. Every system we build includes versioning, data provenance, human override, incident logging, and an audit trail, with defined points where a person reviews, corrects, or stops it.
Where do organisations usually start with AI?
Usually with one of four areas: documents and records, knowledge and policy, service requests, or reporting and forecasting. Each keeps a person in the loop to check or act on the result.
Is Pneuma Tech ISO/IEC 42001 certified?
Not yet. We are building our AI management system to ISO/IEC 42001 and are working towards certification.
What is Elpis?
Elpis is a health platform being developed in Sarawak for Malaysian patients, pharmacies, and clinics. It is not yet released. Its classification under the Medical Device Act 2012 will be confirmed with the Medical Device Authority before launch.
How does Pneuma Tech support data centre and AI compute investors in Sarawak?
We act as the on-the-ground partner from first enquiry to handover: site screening, agency confirmations under State Planning Authority (SPA) Circular No. 2/2026, the planning submission, due diligence, project management, and linking each facility to Sarawak enterprises, talent, and training partners.
Why is Pneuma Tech based in Kuching?
Kuching is Sarawak’s capital, where the agencies that approve and support investment are based. The BaSICS submarine cable lands at Santubong and gives Kuching a direct, high-capacity link to Singapore, the region’s main internet hub. Sarawak also has 3.6 GW of Hydropower in operation, of about 5.9 GW installed capacity..
How do I contact Pneuma Tech?
